I was challenged to do a story about balloons with no adjectives- here it is! It's not at all that long, but you might feel like you wasted your life reading it. @libertyarose (or whatever my username is now) is not responsible for the loss of anything, including your sanity. You have been warned.

It all happened so fast. The sickness spread like no other in recorded history, targeting individuals seemingly at random. In a single day, billions were infected. As if a switch had been flipped, every person who had come in contact and showed symptoms of the sickness dropped dead in the same moment. Everywhere around the world. To add insult to injury, the sick came back in full glory. Too bad they decided to switch teams.

"Aubrey? Where are you?" I called into the darkness. Didn't hear any sound in return. I felt stranded in my own room. The Room number 12. The room I shared with Aubrey. It was night time. The power went off hours ago. I was dripping in my own sweat after frantic search Aubrey who disappeared through the intersecting door into Room Number 13. "Aubrey, don't scare me with your tricks again" I blurted out again into vacuum. There I saw it then... Something shined through the darkness. A pair of light green eyes. I follow is a poem about living within your roots yet following a path you are aware is not going to be safe yet you follow in hopes of things in the world getting better.

A young lady was gruesomely pushed from the top floor of a building... Questions filled the air, as to who killed her... All ways to get the killer proved abortive, as the first detective was murdered in the process... This brings in a new and stern detective to investigate the case... Will she succeed? we'll find out...

Genre: Horror/Mystery 'Sometimes It's Better To Keep Things Untouched' A perfect beach trip. A mesmerising emerald stone. It looked so hypnotic and beautiful. It's just a stone, right? What could go wrong? What John didn't know was that his innocence was just the beginning of their ends. And whom does the whispers belong to that keeps echoing in John's head? Since the day John brought the stone home, eerie and creepy things began happening and even the deaths in his family. Is that all just a coincedence?
